Amazon Kindle Review - Revolutionary Wireless Reading Device

The Amazon Kindle E-book Reader is an amazing invention that has the capacity to revolutionize the way the world views the e-book. Although it is popular, there are still some people doubting over whether or not it is worth to buy one.

Kindle is going to change the way everyone read! In the past, I have always had a book at hand. Books in progress were everywhere... in the bedroom, the living room, the bathroom, and even in the car. Now, I just have my Kindle with me all the time.

Kindle is simple to use, extremely easy to set up the first time you use it. If need help the instructions that come with it are very simple and helpful! But, it only takes a few moments to learn how to use this.

This device is wireless which means that you can take it anywhere. As it is permanently wireless connected, Kindle has daily updates of blogs, newspapers and magazines!

The Kindle is light enough to read in bed comfortably! The reader is suitable for any age of person, from the young to the old so it is worth investing in.

But the best thing is that you can download over 90,000 e-books and start reading them in less than a minute. Who needs ever to buy a book again? Kindle even can play audio books from Audible.com.

The ability to preview a book is very nice. It's helped a lot in my buying decisions.

The biggest disadvantage when compared to "real book" is that illustrations, tables and figures are usually not big enough making them unreadable. Note that Kindle only works in the US.

But I truly love my Kindle: The benefits crash some minor drawbacks!

My advice is: get one!

The Amazon Kindle - The Ultimate Ebook Reader?

The Amazon Kindle is relatively new to the market and is one of a growing number of ebook readers available to us today as a result of the growing popularity of ebooks. However, there is a little something different about the Amazon Kindle Ebook Reader that sets it apart from the rest. There is most definitely something that makes it special but it is difficult to put your finger on. The reason why it is so difficult to identify just why the Amazon Kindle captures your attention is because there is no one reason. Instead, there is a whole host of them!

The Amazon Kindle is an amazing piece of technology that allows you to read books and keep up with your news and favourite blogs at the same time. The daily blogs and newspapers are updated every single day via a wireless connection so you do not actually have to go out and physically look for the information you want! It is right there! The wireless connection always works because of the nature of the Amazon Kindle technology. They also take care of the wireless bills so that you have no further cost... other than the books you buy of course!

If the Amazon Kindle actually provides all of this, you may put forward the argument that you can get it from any computer. However, you would be missing the point. The Amazon Kindle is not a computer. It is a portable ebook reader that does not even resemble a computer. You can use it wherever you want to and still receive updates, regardless of whether you are in or near a hot spot or not!

In many ways, the Amazon Kindle is the ultimate ebook reader, but to see just how far that statement holds true, you will just have to try it for yourself!

Amazon Kindle - The Goods And The Bads

No doubt that the Amazon Kindle is doing really good and is producing a massive amount of visitors to it, but each and every thing has a negative and a positive point, and i am going to tell you some good and some bad facts about the Amazon Kindle.

It is really hard to describe this revolutionary invention in few paragraphs, Amazon's first ebook reader is a huge success on the market and Amazon is still producing Kindle due to high demand of supply, people are using this product and are really satisfied with it but there are some places where this ebook reader lacks.

Firstly, I would like to tell you about it's Good facts and points:

  • Battery-life is really great, worth of reading almost bunch of pages.
  • Kindle's actual memory is 256mb which can store upto 200 books. However, you can expand the memory via a SD-memory card which is really cool.
  • It's design is as matchable as to a book, and the 6" e-ink screen can also be read in sun-light, no need to go in the shadows.
  • Ebooks bought at Amazon are protected by AZWDRM which means, you can't share your books with your friends. Kindle has also the ability to read unprotected books in html, JPG, Gif, Word-Format.
  • Blog subscriptions usually cost $2 a month with a 14-day free trial. However, you can browse directly to the blog using the "Basic Web" browser for free. Basically, you'll pay for RSS, but not the web.
  • Kindle has also a new search query system "Kindle NowNow" which is powered by Amazon's Mechanical Turk distributed work system, NowNow service is free.
Well, besides these points, there are many other advantages of Amazon Kindle but I have just wrote the vital one's.

Now, here are the Bad facts:

  • No PDF-Support. The biggest book format is not supported, maybe it will be included in the next version.
  • Black and White screen is fine while reading books, but magazines do need some colors.
  • Mobipocket DRM'd files will not work on the Kindle.
  • There are only two fonts: Caecilia and Neue Helvetica, both from Linotype. You cannot select which font to use to read (the book texts are in Caecilia), but can select from six font sizes.
  • You won't be able to scroll down the wheel to move down the content not even on the web. You will have to use the back and forward keys in order to do so.
Regarding the matter of having negative points, the Amazon Kindle is still having more positive comments than of negative, but still this product lacks at some places where it should not.
